In June, 2009, I participated in the La Piazza dell' Arte, chalk art festival, hosted by the Larimer Arts Association, and held in Larimer Square, in downtown Denver, Colorado.  There were many wonderful artists at this festival.  For my piece, I re-created and enlarged one of my 2.5" x 3" watercolor paintings, in chalk, to a size of 6' X 8'.  Aecom was my sponsor, and it was a pleasure to meet the vice-president who came down to see my work.  Below is a link to my piece from the festival.

I participated again this year.  The festival was re-named the Denver Chalk Art Festival.  This time I re-created a 3"X5" watercolor painting, into a much larger version on June 5 & 6, 2010, at Larimer Square.  Southwest Airlines was my sponsor for this year.

In 2011, my daughter and I are both planning to participate in the Denver Chalk Art Festival, being held June 4 & 5, 2011, at Larimer Square. My daughter Alecia, is a very talented anime artist, and we will both be creating much larger versions of our work!!
